Terms of service
Last updated November 4, 2026
These terms are an agreement between your business and Anand Tech Inc., a Canadian company ("we", "us"), for the use of Sunverge AI Receptionist (the "service"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and confirm that you're authorized to accept them for your business.
1. The service
Sunverge AI Receptionist answers your business's phone calls with an automated assistant. It takes requests, answers simple questions using the details you provide, and alerts your staff by text message about new and urgent requests. It can't see or change your schedule. It never books, changes or cancels anything, and your staff must call back to confirm.
2. Test mode and going live
Every new account starts in test mode, without a phone number. While in test mode, use made-up details only. We review each business before it can take real calls, and we may decline or delay that approval. Dental clinics, and other businesses whose callers share health information, can't take real calls until we confirm that additional privacy requirements are met.
3. Not an emergency service
Sunverge AI Receptionist is not a replacement for 911 or for your own emergency procedures. The receptionist directs callers to 911 when it recognizes a life-threatening situation, but it may not always recognize one. Calls may be missed or dropped, and text alerts may be delayed or fail, for example because of phone carrier problems. You must not rely on the service as your only way of handling urgent situations, and you must keep a working on-call number that callers are given if an alert fails.
4. Artificial intelligence can make mistakes
The receptionist uses artificial intelligence. It may mishear callers, record details incorrectly or say something inaccurate. It is designed not to give medical, veterinary, repair, legal or other professional advice. You're responsible for checking requests and confirming details with callers.
5. Your responsibilities
- Keep your business details, emergency instructions and alert numbers accurate and up to date. The receptionist tells callers what you provide.
- Monitor your requests and text alerts, and follow up with callers promptly.
- Meet the legal obligations that apply to your business, including privacy laws and any rules of your profession or regulator.
- Keep your login details secure, and make sure your team uses the service properly.
- Don't use the service for anything illegal, for unsolicited calls or messages, or to mislead callers.
6. Your data
Your business owns its information and its callers' requests. We use them only to provide and improve the service, as described in our privacy policy. You can ask us for a copy of your data at any time. When you close your account, we delete your data within 90 days, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
7. Fees
The price is shown on our website and on your Billing page. Prices are in Canadian dollars and don't include applicable taxes. New accounts get a free trial. During our pilot program, we won't charge you without telling you first. You can cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before changing the price.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service running at all times, but we don't guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may improve or change the service. If a change significantly reduces what the service does, we'll tell you in advance.
9. Suspension and ending the agreement
You can close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if your payments are overdue, or if we need to protect callers, other customers or the service. Where we reasonably can, we'll give you notice first.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we provide the service "as is". We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost business or missed appointments, and our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction over any dispute.
12. Changes to these terms
We'll post any changes here and update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the new terms.
